  1. At first, Ceddie doesn’t like the idea of being an earl, but then his mamma tells him his papa would wish it.
  2. Ceddie gets out the news to Mr. Hobbs.
  3. Mr. Havisham did not think Mrs. Errol or her son, Ceddie, would be very likeable, but when he meets them he is pleased.
  4. Mr. Havisham watches Ceddie win a race.
  5. Ceddie tells Mr. Havisham what he would do with his money if he were rich.
  6. Ceddie is given money by his grandfather and gives money and dry goods to his poor friends.
